do justice, love mercy, walk humbly
do justice, love mercy, walk humbly
Diana DiPrimo, a wife, mom, friend and team player. I grew up in Ilion, NY and am one of seven siblings. I am third from the youngest and was always known as “the quiet one”! Right after high school graduation I attended Nyack College starting out in the elementary teacher field. I soon discovered that I didn’t want to be a teacher and changed my major to Bible. I am no Bible scholar but just felt that my heart belonged in a ministry. After graduation I didn’t have a clear direction and took a job at the college as an office worker. I moved to PA and worked at Eastern College in 1990. Still felt that ministry was in my future but still didn’t have a clear direction. In April of 1995 I met my husband Edward from Mohawk, NY and we married in September 1995. In 1997 we moved back to NY and I began working at SUNY Poly in May 1998. In November 2000 our first daughter was born and we started looking for a church and received a recommendation to attend Cornerstone Community Church in March 2002 and we felt at home right away. In June 2002 our second daughter was born. After the church move to New York Mills we got involved in different aspects of the church. I started by teaching younger kids on Sundays, got involved with my girls but still didn’t feel like I was being used to my abilities. I started working at the church in 2008 as the pastor’s assistant just assisting wherever was needed - Children’s ministry, kitchen, communication, etc. My gifts lie in supporting those on the front-line. I really felt at home in this capacity and grew in the role over the years. I began to do the accounting for the church and felt at home both in leadership and also as a member. My heart has always been for the kids and in 2013 was instrumental in starting an event on Black Friday to help families during the holidays. Giving a hand up and bringing smiles and making a difference in other’s lives is where my heart has been and will always be. In April of 2019 I lost my oldest brother who has always been my role model. It devastated me and yet pushes me to continue doing what he has always done - Love God and Love Others! - Isaiah 1:17 - Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.
